* The Breakfast Club was established in 1977 with a group of guys meeting to play basketball every Saturday morning and having breakfast afterwards, a tradition that still continues today.

* The Breakfast Club is deeply rooted in the community having a 4 year partnership with Douglass Park; providing supplies, volunteer hours, mentoring and youth programs to the community.
